Emma Francis

Emma Francis is a photographer specializing in agriculture and irrigation product photography. Raised in Walla Walla, she has been based in France since 2018 and has collaborated with Nelson Irrigation across France, Spain, the Netherlands, and Germany, creating imagery that connects irrigation innovation with the realities of working land. She works directly with irrigation suppliers, in collaboration with farmers in their fields, to produce practical and visually strong images of irrigation systems in action.

Emma grew up in an irrigation family, where crop fields were part of childhood and sprinklers were part of play. Some of her earliest memories are climbing irrigation booms, exploring fields, and running beneath the spray of a Nelson “Big Gun” sprinkler. Long before she photographed this world, she was living in it.
